DORRIGO 14TH August, 2011 FREE
A gift to the community – a free introduction to biodynamics
This workshop is encouraged by members of the Dorrigo Green Lifestyles Group and the Dorrigo Writers Group and follows a successful day held in May.
The workshop is free but please register, numbers are limited: DORRIGO Sunday 14 August 2011
Presenter: Hamish Mackay
Hamish has been working with biodynamics for 35 years presenting workshops around Australia as well as in the UK, USA, South Africa, Namibia and Brazil. He has also visited biodynamic activities in NZ, Scandinavia, Germany, Switzerland and India. Biodynamics arises out of questions put to Dr Rudolf Steiner in the 1920‘s by individuals concerned with the decline of agriculture and culture generally in the post WW1 period. Hamish’s experiences fuel a passion for biodynamics as a foundation for progress in our cultural, social and economic life at a time when our environment is seriously challenged.
Hamish presents biodynamics as an enjoyable and cost effective way to produce high quality food and fibre suitable for human health and well-being. Biodynamics has many positive outcomes that can address our carbon and climate challenges and generate confidence in the future. We can be carbon neutral and productive, healthyand viable. Gardeners and farmers alike can all play an important role in improving our environment.
Books and biodynamic preparations will be available for sale.
